Change the colours on blogger template?

How can i change the background colours on my garland template on blogger (think its the new one) - tried changing the colours in the html coding but only some changes work like changing the link colours, how do I change background??? - heres my site if it helps - http://naruto-links.blogspot.com/

Gotta get in there, in "layout" and "edit html" and "expand widgets" and diddle the css at the beginning of the file. Up at the beginning, you'll see a css statement for "body". Add to it, something like "background-color: #f33;" (for red) or whatever color you want...
