Can i click my ads on my Blogger page (google adsense)???

Hi.





I have a blog on blogger.com and i recently signed up for google adsense.





I was wondering, if i click the google ads on my own blogger page, do i get the money? Or does it only work if somebody else clicks it?


If so, how does it judge who clicks, does it go by proxy address etc.???





I'm looking for anybody to please help me with some answers on this topic, and to also hopefully point me in the direction of some documentation on this subject.

No, you won't. You're generally allowed to click them once or twice (since accidents do happen), but you won't get paid for those and don't think you can click on them repeatedly either.





Basically, big G keeps the idea of a valid click a secret, other than to reveal that each ad impression has a unique id associated with it and a clickthrough will only be counted once per ID.

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. Reply:It is illeagal and voilates the adsense rules. You will get a warning when you click on your own ad and if you repeat it or google feels you are doing it purposely, they'll ban you. How the find out? Well, they use multiple proxies to discover your true IP address. If they get many clicks from the same address, they might ban you. Using this technique, they can also find out if you are making you friends click on the ads. So the best way to get money through Adsense is by adding good content to your blog, attracting more people, thereby clicks!
