Why can't I get my Blogger blogs indexed in Google? They have PR & I've done good SEO, but still no SERPs.

BTW, they're over a year old, I do have PageRank, and I have done good SEO for the past long while. I ping at pingoat, I'm in Technorati, I've been very careful with duplicate content, especially when doing article marketing (only at the best article directories), have created sitemaps and uploaded to Google Webmaster (which show as successfully indexed), and I have shown up in Digg and other good places. So why no SERPs in Google? I'm targeting long-tail keywords too! Not as much competition! I heard that sometimes Blogger points the Meta tags to nofollow %26amp; noindex; is that true? I can't see much in those weird templates.... What's up?

Reply:All I can tell you is my personal experience. So far my blog is on page 2 of Google's search engine rankings for a specific set of keywords and I believe that I achieved that merely by the content that I put on my blog.

So a lot of this is going to have to do with the keywords that you want your site to be associated with, what your page ranking is now and the content that is on your site.

It's not easy and some have compared SEO with being a fine art. It's something that you constantly have to do because every day more and more sites are coming on the Internet.

Reply:Biggest blogger mistake.. not hosing your own blog.
Reply:Without seeing your blogs its hard to say whats wrong.

Try optimizing for specific keywords that you know get traffic and also keep writing. Blogging is a tough game because you have to keep writing to get the exposure that you want.

Reply:ask yahoo...google....etc...they are their to teach you. its there job.
Reply:Spot on there with your comment of no follow tags. Its in the template so you might want to remove this, but that only refers to links on your page. Duplicate content might be an issue because I bet you used a ready made template didn't you! Article duplication from any source will mean your article is a duplicate no matter what. I have a link that changes all articles to original content if you want. Basically what you have said here and what I am alluding to is get your own blog account at a reputable host such as Godaddy or someone else. Get an independent hosting account and redirect your original blog to your new blog. Blogspot url's are seen as the grandfather Blogger dot com.
Reply:Can you provide us with the blog's URL so we can examine your SEO tags and come up with an appropriate response?
