Creating a file with a specific name in Blogger?

I have created a contact form for my blog on Blogger using FormSmarts.com ( http://formsmarts.com ), but to verify I own the site, they ask me to "create a file named syronex789ec92643a92e3b.html at the root of "example.blogspot.com".





Can anyone help me to do that?

Reply:I'm not sure if Blogger allows you to create a file with a specific name, but what I know is that if automated verification doesn't work for you, FormSmarts people can verify your site manually. They did it for me.





Also, you don't actually need your site to be verified unless you want to personalize your forms with your name and site logo.
Reply:Unfortunately you don't have direct access to your hosting account on Blogger. This means you will be unable to upload a file to the root of your domain.





If you still need a custom form for your Blogger blog, I would recommend Kontactr instead (http://kontactr.com). I use this in my own Blogger blogs: it's free, reliable and works just great!
