Has anyone ever used Blogger?
If you want to keep a diary type of blog, try livejournal.com or vox.com. (I really prefer LJ to vox.)
If you want something that's more standalone and professional looking, go with wordpress. Wordpress.com is a site that will be easy to set up and they will host it for you. (Your URL will be something like www.myblog.wordpress.com.) If you want to put it on your own domain name (www.myblog.com) and have total control over the widgets and display, go with wordpress.org. But you will need your own hosting to use wordpress.org.
Anyway, WP is way better than blogger.
