i took advice and went to blogger but struggling setting it up. can i do it so only friend and family can see it. don't want every tom dick or harry seeing my kids

Its a compose mode just like your e-mail compose mode. It is where you manipulate text with formatting buttons

Compose means to create a new post.





Once you create a blog on Blogger there is no way to disable it from not being public, that is done automatically.





Which is why Blogger has introduced Blogger Beta
